What's Your Definition Of Elegance?

What's your definition of elegance - Curry Glassell

Elegance, what does it make you think of?

We often define elegance as dripping with jewels, fancy sports cars, or extravagant vacations. However, is that really what the word means?

The actual definition of elegance is:

"Refinement, grace, and beauty in movement, appearance, or manners."

I discovered that elegance isn't what I thought it was. For instance, it can be the ease and receiving. That knowing you have when you are appreciated and there is a sense of spontaneity and joyfulness. Yes, it can be that simple.

Most often, elegance is something we choose sparingly.

It is something left for special occasions, celebrations, or holidays, or we believe it is reserved for only the very wealthy.

However, what if we indulged in these energies every day? Wear that lovely jewelry just because, drink champagne just because, and receive that admiration from anyone who sends it your way.

How often do you do these things? How often do you indulge in these energies? Do you only wear your nice jewelry on special occasions or only drink champagne on birthdays?

I challenge you to do what makes you feel elegant just for fun!

Let me know how it goes.
