I always thought that what I had been born with was what I was destined to have for the rest of my life. On the outside, it looked like wealth and riches to most people, and on the inside, it was a very different story. I grew up with a lot of abuse in my childhood that ranged from emotional to mental and physical abuse. My self-esteem was non-existent and I was convinced that I didn’t really have anything to offer the world.
However, for as long as I can remember I’ve always had the desire to contribute to a greater world. I would see the conditions that people were living in in different countries, and I wondered what could be created to empower those people to be able to create a different life if they desired it. This led me on a path of seeking and self-discovery that bit-by-bit allowed me to shed the weight of judgment I had placed on myself, and uncover a quiet confidence I had always had.
